Eric Windeler In March 2010 Jack Windeler, a first-year student at Queen’s University, died of suicide. Jack’s parents have kick-started the Jack Windeler Memorial Fund and partnered with Kids Help Phone and the Mental Health Commission of Canada. The Jack Project See Eric's presentation here.
Scott spoke about how the loss of his father to suicide inspired the Collateral Damage Project. Scott talked about the importance of creating a dialogue around suicide and mental health in order to lessen the stigma, and create opportunities for advocacy and suicide prevention training. |
